Answer:
4Ps Culinary Tours wants to offer you the opportunity to experience the fullest aspects of the environment and culture.  For this reason travelers should be prepared for a higher pace and, therefore, a higher degree of walking than on most tours.  We utilize private motor coach to take us near the points of interest, however, from there we experience Assisi, Rome, and Tivoli up close and personal.  Be prepared for the following: uneven terrain, hilly or steep roads, and winding, medieval, cobblestone streets and alleys.

Question:
Your tour information states that the price is based on double occupancy.  Is it possible for me to get a private room?
Answer:
Yes, private rooms are available.  Normally we charge an additional 15-20% for private lodging.  This amount depends on the particular season and the availability of the private rooms.

Question:
Are there actual cooking classes where I will need to take notes?
Answer:
Our culinary tour is designed to be enjoyable.  We do not have classroom situations built into our tours.  We provide the opportunity for each person to experience how various foods are prepared.  This experience can vary from casual observance to actual hands-on activities.  Each participant is free to take notes if they wish, however, this is not a required activity.

Question:
I noticed that there are other activities besides culinary venues.  How much sightseeing is included in the tour?
Answer:
The larger percentage of our tour involves sightseeing activities.  We feel that people choose our tours because we provide a good balance between culinary aspects and sightseeing aspects.  If a person only wanted to be involved with culinary aspects then they could attend culinary institutes near their home.  People who travel to foreign countries want to experience that country's unique flavors as well as the sights and history that is relevant to that country.

Question:
I enjoy cooking and I enjoy eating, but I am not a "chef".  Is this okay?
Answer:
Perfectly.  Our tours are designed to accommodate the serious chefs and the not-so-serious patron of good food.  If you enjoy tinkering around in the kitchen or just merely enjoy good-tasting food then this tour is for you.

Question:
I love to cook, but my spouse does not care anything about cooking.  Will my spouse be able to find any enjoyment from attending this tour?
Answer:
We feel that there are plenty of sightseeing activities included in our tours that will keep your spouse happily occupied.  However, you and your spouse are the only ones who will be able to make that determination.  Please don't hesitate to contact us with any concerns.

Question:
Can I make payments for the tour costs?
Answer:
Yes you can.  We require a deposit of $275.00 to secure your registration.  You may pay the full amount of the tour at the time of registration or you may wish to only pay the deposit and then divide your payments for the remaining portion of the tour price.  Full payment must be received 30 days prior to the starting date for the tour.
